THE WEST END

Vancouver - British Columbia - CANADA

Welcome to the West End of Vancouver. This site hopes to provide insights and information on the West End to local residents and visitors alike. Content will be predominantly of a visual nature and give viewers a sense of why a vastly differing group of individuals would all want to call the West End their home. Beaches, parks, sidewalk cafes, social amenities, heritage structures, recreational facilities and more will be blended into a tapestry of ongoing interest for those who appreciate the intricate personality of the West End neighborhood.

Images and narratives are provided by various sources identified on the respective pages. Our contributions are motivated by a fondness for our neighbourhood and hope for its future, enjoying the present and respecting the past. Each of the contributors offers their own appreciation and perspective of the West End. Enjoy them all. Suggestions, comments and corrections are welcome.
